This On-Site Visit (OSV) will be the formal evaluation phase of the NATO SFA COE Quality Assurance process, conducted after submission and review of the Self-Assessment Report (SAR).

It consists of a coordinated visit by HQ SACT’s Quality Assurance Team of Experts (QA TOEs) to the Centre’s premises, during which the team verifies compliance with NATO Quality Standards. The assessment is carried out through interviews with staff, document reviews, inspection of facilities, and analysis of quality management processes — including the institution’s Quality Management System (QMS) and Continuous Improvement Plan (CIP).

 

The OSV aims to confirm that the NATO SFA COE delivers efficient, effective, and affordable Education and Individual Training (E&IT) solutions, in line with NATO’s standards and expectations. The visit’s timing and detailed schedule are agreed jointly between HQ SACT MDFD and the Centre, ensuring that the process is tailored to the specific context and readiness of each institution.
