Welcome to the 2026 CAF Patient-Family Conference. The conference will take place at the Westin O'Hare in Rosemont Illinois.
During registration, you will have the option to choose whether you would like to attend in person or virtually. If you choose to attend virtually, only the sessions on Saturday will be streamed live. In-person attendees will have the opportunity to participate in the full Friday-Sunday experience.

Welcome to the 2026 CAF Patient-Family Conference. The conference will take place at the Westin O'Hare in Rosemont, IL..

During registration, you will have the option to choose whether you would like to attend in person or virtually. U.S. patients/family members who would like to attend the Conference in-person but find travel expenses beyond their current means should contact directly Patient Services Manager Eileen Scott at escott@thalassemia.org. A limited amount of funds are available to help.

Applications for these funds must be received by CAF absolutely no later than Wednesday, May 1st. You will be notified by Wednesday, May 15th, if they are able to offer you assistance.

Non-U.S. patients and families may attend in-person but must contact CAF and should not book travel until they have received confirmation from CAF directly. Because this Conference is geared toward thalassemia care in the United States, information presented may differ from information provided in some other countries.
Please note that the Cooley’s Anemia Foundation is unable to assist with international travel arrangements.
