Sala delle Conferenze Internazionali, Ministero degli Affari Esteri e della Cooperazione Internazionale
Piazzale della Farnesina, 1
00135 Rome RM

One year after the release of the new Strategic Concept in Madrid, and after the NATO Summit in Vilnius (11-12th of July), the Alliance gears up towards the next Summit in Washington DC, marking 75 years of successful tackling old and new threats to the Euro-Atlantic community.

What are the most effective policies and investments in order to ensure a credible defence and deterrence?

How to project security at 360°?

A new impulse is needed to strengthen the task of “cooperative security”: how to revamp the essential partnerships in the South (Mediterranean Dialogue and Istanbul Cooperation Initiative)?

A group of international, high-level speakers will outline the next steps forward for a politically stronger, more global NATO, at a time when these topics are crucial for institutions and public opinions alike.

The working language will be English and the event will be live-streamed as well.

The detailed agenda is available on the dedicated page on the NDCF website.
