Online, 11:15 a.m.—4:00 p.m., Manila time (GMT +8)
Building the resilience of the urban poor, who are major economic contributors in both formal and informal sectors, is critical to achieving development goals in Asia and the Pacific. The worsening impacts of climate change threaten decades of development gains and the urban poor are particularly vulnerable. The effects of climate change on urban areas—particularly the poor—will be shaped by decisions and investments made now.
The RUP2021 Forum will explore resilience solutions, innovations, and strategies at the household, community, city, and national levels. The event will be fully virtual, with presentations and discussions conducted in English as official language.
